Our Classic Resorts collection offers a wonderful array of luxury choice, regardless of the type of experience you seek. Some are perfect for that intimate romantic getaway, others better suited to a Spa, golf or tennis break. The majority however, promise a family friendly environment with healthy doses of the good life.

Sumptuous Dining

Each of our featured properties offers a choice of restaurants with varied menus to suit all tastes, including the children as most offer dedicated menus. ‘Al fresco’ dining is a prominent part of the experience, especially between the milder months of April and October when the plentiful pool snack bars, beach club restaurants and restaurant terraces come into their own. A Jacket & Tie for gentlemen is rarely obligatory, with some exceptions. Please check with us at the time.

Championship Golf

Renowned for attracting discerning clientele, the emerald green swathes of a golf course contribute to many of Europe’s finest resorts. Within our portfolio, we feature no fewer than fifteen hotels that boast a golf course on-site. Guests receive preferential conditions for play on some of Europe’s most desirable courses, including the likes of San Lorenzo, La Cala, La Manga South, Aphrodite Hills, Quinta do Lago and Praia D’El Rey. Many also feature good practice facilities to brush up your game and, for beginners, many have golf clinics and organised academies to enrol in. We provide a pre-booking service for all featured courses.

Spa & Wellness

Precisely the element the majority of us desire most from a holiday – to be spoilt and thoroughly pampered! No fewer than 19 of our resorts feature a Spa and together they provide a myriad of treatments and, in most cases, come complete with a heated indoor pool and gym. We are able to offer a pre-booking service for Spa packages at certain resorts but individual treatments should be reserved locally with the concierge.

Good Sport

If your idea of a rewarding break doesn’t involve endless days spent lounging in the sun, our collection has energetic alternatives. In addition to golf and Spa facilities, many of our resorts offer a range of other pursuits. Tennis is a popular draw with most resorts having a court or two. In particular, the resorts at La Manga Club, Aphrodite Hills and ABAMA offer superb tennis facilities and clinics. Elsewhere the portfolio includes some enticing options to quicken the pulse, including equestrian centres, mountain bike trails, gymnasiums, water-sports and even private yacht charters.

Beach Clubs

The Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines are renowned for their plentiful sandy beaches and coves. Time on the beach is an essential part of any holiday, even more so when travelling as a family. Several of our chosen resorts benefit from direct beach frontage, whilst others are within a stroll or complimentary shuttle ride from the coast. Many offer beach clubs and concessions for hotel guests in season with refreshments and sun loungers available.

Junior Fun

Nearly all of our featured resorts offer good facilities for childcare, in the form of crèches, kids’ clubs and supervised activities for juniors and young adults. The majority of resorts make a charge for this facility but a select few make no charge. Likewise, several open only during school holiday periods but there are many that remain open all year round. Baby-sitting can normally be arranged locally with sufficient warning. Please refer to the relevant resort information or call us for further details.

Kids Free

At many of our resorts, children under 12 years of age stay for free when sharing a room with 2 adults and, in some cases there is no charge for food either. Details can be found on the relevant resort price panel. We are happy to arrange for interconnecting rooms where possible and in some cases a discount will apply when a 2nd room is reserved.

Private Villas

Some resorts offer self-catering villas or townhouses as well as a sumptuous hotel. Prices for these will not always be found in the price panel and we would ask you to call our travel counsellors for a specific quote. Barwell has a wealth of self-catering options at the La Manga Club resort and access to some fine individual private villas in Portugal. Again, please call for more information.
