Ostensibly modern, Las Dunas Beach Hotel and Spa is a property which revels in all things Andalusian, old and new. From is Hacienda-style design to its impassioned gastronomy, guests are afforded southern Spanish hospitality at its finest. An all suite hotel, Las Dunas enjoys a privileged position directly on the beach. Seclusion and comfort reign amongst the lush tropical landscaped gardens and guests can expect exemplary yet discreet and unobtrusive service. The epitome of luxury, each of the 88 suites offers magnificent views across the Mediterranean, the mountains of Morocco or the hotel’s serene Andalusian gardens. 54 junior and deluxe suites are housed in the main building with a further 34 family suites and 2 and 3 bedroom apartments (featuring kitchenettes) located in the deluxe garden wing.
A bottle of champagne and fresh fruit await guests’ arrival, with check-in taking place in the privacy of the suite. Flat screen television, fully stocked mini bar, luxury bathroom and, in most suites, separate shower and Jacuzzi are features expected of a hotel of this calibre.

The size and splendour of the suites may encourage guests to avail themselves of the 24 hour room service. However, a visit to one of the three locally acclaimed restaurants is highly recommended. A superb wine selection complements creative Mediterranean cuisine at El Lido, Las Dunas’ fine dining restaurant. Open from Tuesday to Saturday, this is the perfect venue for a special occasion with superlative cuisine accompanied by sophisticated live piano music and sublime ocean views. Brasserie Felix is a lively spot in which to savour Italian-Asian fare al fresco. The courtyard setting is the ideal venue for the specially commissioned flamenco shows, concerts and other live entertainment which take place during July and August. Children are kept amused during the summer holiday season at the kids’ club whilst parents are kept relaxed and rejuvenated at the Serenity Spa. Three swimming pools (1 dedicated children’s pool), water sports (seasonal) and a fitness centre are on hand to accommodate those seeking a little more activity. Golf of course is a ubiquitous feature in this part of Spain with over 50 courses within easy access of Las Dunas. If the hotel’s Andalusian fervour inspires you to explore, the cities of Grenada, Seville, and the beautiful white washed town of Ronda are all conveniently located to provide a memorable day trip.
